There are some databases that are absolutely essential to cover for a comprehensive patent search, but at the same time they are quite difficult to grasp for novice patent searchers

Although commercial databases are better in many respects , it is important for a new patent professional to first be proficient in all free /country specific databases. In many ways this is the differentiating factor in deciding the best candidates

In my patent search training series I'll be covering following databases

each would feature search basics for these databases and an example covering all taught topics
