Ever since I first heard about Martin Jetpack, I had marked it as a 'to buy' item whenever it will be available. Well, it may be possible to buy it next year.

The earliest patent talking about this Jetpack is US7484687B2.

Although this jetpack has been in development for over 20 years, its major breakthrough came in 2013 on receipt of civil aviation authority approval for manned flights.

The first buying rights would go to government agencies (search and rescue operations), but imagine everyone having these; wouldn't our roads be all empty?
